Here's the pattern I used to make the jumper with. The ladies on the cover are just chillin' in their jumpers. They know you're jealous.

I Love jumpers even worn sleeveless. I inherited my Mom's computer Bernina and because I hate all the clothes in the store I have decided to start sewing again. I have only made three things in my life, a robe for my husband, a mu mu type dress, and my first thing, a straight skirt in home ec which received an F because I didn't match up the stripes. So, I am pretty much a failure. My Mom used to make me designer clothes, lined, embroidered. She should have been a designer because she would take three patterns and steal from each and come up with her own original. I never would find the salvage, line up the material, I just slapped the material on there and cut. It drove my Mom crazy. She would say, If you are don't going to do it right, please don't sew. It hurts me. I love your blog
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! Sewing is hard and very tedious. I totally relate to wanting to just slap it together. I had to look up "selvage" in the dictionary because I couldn't understand the pattern directions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this!
